About Julie
I haven’t strayed too far from where I was born and raised, but have dreams of travelling. I attended Ventura Park grade school, Floyd Light middle school and David Douglas High School; some college at PCC, but not nearly enough. I love learning and will probably spend my life trying to learn as much as possible.
I love to write, scrapbook, paint, make crafty things, not to mention how much I love photography. One of the crazy things I do that can drive David bonkers, is buy things just because they are my favorite color, colbalt blue. Sometimes is doesn’t matter if they have no purpose at all; it is simply the fact that they are a cool color. =o)
I have an older brother and a younger sister. Together, they have made me the proud aunt of four nephews and a niece. I don’t have any children yet, but plan to. And I hope to pass on my love for life and for others.
About David
Most people find it shocking that I was born in central Mexico as I have lived in the US for all but maybe 2 years of my life. It goes to say that I’m not very fluent in Spanish. I spent most of my childhood in Las Cruces, NM making good friends, exploring the desert, and participating in the sport of bowling.
When I was 14, my mom and I moved to Alaska where I spent a lot of time hiking and gasping at beautiful landscapes from places like Fairbanks, Anchorage, Homer, and all the way down to Adak Island in the Aleutian Islands. From there I moved to Montana to attend MSU where I met a lot of amazing people who helped change my life forever. Sometimes I wish I could go back in time, not just to see my friends again , but to satisfy my craving for knowledge and to just live a simpler life where each day revolved around laughter, happiness, and strong friendships.
I finished my BA at the Art Institute of Portland in Multimedia and Web Design and currently work for an email marketing firm in the heart of Downtown Portland. I also do freelance work in my spare time as I see web design as a hobby and not a job. I’m still an avid bowler and love to hike in places where my footsteps have never been before. Photography is a big enjoyment of mine as I try to take my camera everywhere I go, especially when it involves serene landscapes or unforgettable human reactions.

Hey….just logging in to see if you have arrived in Thailand yet. Have a great day. i will check back tomorrow.
